Climbin' 4 a Cure

I promise I'll post more on Guinea, but just a quick note on today's climb...
My bro's Paul and Mike cruised the stairwell of the IDS with me this morning for "fun" and in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's work to find a cure for CF. We ran as "team Noah- Minnesota branch" for our cousin Libby's son in Colorado who was diagnosed with CF as a newborn. A huge thanks to everyone who contributed.... we raised $2000.00! Way cool.
The climb: not so cool. Hot. and Oxygenless. In the stairwell, there was no oxygen. Maybe for that first guy who went up at 8am....I dunno... For me, at 9am, there was a whole lot of carbon dioxide in the stairwell from all the peeps who had already climbed.
Note to self: don't be "retard" next year. Be that person that gets the O2.
Note to self #2: don't go to Winterfest beer tasting in St Paul with co-workers night before climbing 50 flights of stairs. Hiccup. :)

note to self #3: do not even dream of stair-climbing (or biking, or running, or skiing) faster than Paul or Mike.... they are crazy fast! Mike took a second place finish in the morning race and Paul would have placed third in the rescue workers race had he been there in time to run it. Unfortunately, he was..... as they say in Francais.... well, you know.

Thanks again to all you fabulous generous peeps.
